After a fruitless search for these collapsible sunshields in RV size to replace the old ratty ones, the in-laws asked me to refurbished them using the same flexible steel rings. They wanted something that provides privacy but didn't block all the light. The old ones were a tyvek type material. I couldn't find that so used a white drapery lining. Sewing these was harder than you might think. Have you ever tried to wrestle bias tape, fabric and a 5 foot diameter flexible steel hoop through a sewing machine?


Looks like mom-in-law-is enjoying her birthday quilt and travel pillow. Personally, I love lap quilts and have several here at the house. It's nice to have one just big enough to drape over you.
