I stopped by Nancy's Quilt Shop yesterday and bought some new fabrics. My sister asked for some reuseable shopping bags for her birthday that match her OverallBeauty brand. I found some great roses and butterflys that will make her very happy. I'll print her logo out onto colorfast inkjet fabric and put it on the bags in the same way I did for Gina's art here on Tintaglia.
I also had to buy some new FQs (They made me buy them! I swear.) and this prompted a little tidying up in my fabric cabinet and lo and behold ... I CAN buy more fabric! See, I have room in the reds, multicolors and greens. Big empty spaces. See? See? Umm, this is "justification through cleaning" gone rampant... isn't it?
At least the cats seem to be in tune with my fabric obsession!Here's my next project from this great teal paisley batik and deep yellow I got in yesterday's haul. I added in some lime green and picked out some possible beads. Not sure what I'm making, but it feels so summery! Any suggestions?

I have friends who live up near Nancy's Quilt Shop. Shame I don't sew anymore otherwise I'd stop by next time I'm up that way. Lovely fabrics! I go nuts when I stop at bead shops.
