I've been testing out this Torch nail polish color my sister sent for a few days now. I took off the other orange sent sent me (Glistening Sandz, which is out of stock right now) and put Torch on my fingers this week. I said earlier that maybe it should move towards yellow, but then I saw it on my nails in the sunlight while I was driving yesterday. The pink cast it has indoors completely vanishes and the blazing orange comes through. I LOVE this color! She nailed the color I had in my head to a T.

Kim called me yesterday and said she's got the yellow from my collection, but she won't share and she won't even send me a picture! Sisters! I guess it is only fair as I'm NEVER sending back my bottle of Torch. From what she said, it looks like Cindy has taken my idea and run with it and the full Hot Rod Collection will be out very soon.

If the response to this is anything like the flood of orders Kim got when we put BB Couture colors on sale for her birthday last month, Cindy better make a BIG batch! She had over 70 orders in less than 24 hours, most of them for 4-6 bottles. We offered buy 2 bottles, get 1 free.. with no limit and the nail polish junkies went NUTS! The people who got the newsletter leaked the offer code to the nail polish junkie boards in a matter of hours. Kim had to slap a limit on it or she would have run out of polish. She did sell out of several popular colors, which made both Kim and Cindy happy.. but overwhelmed with fulfilling the orders. I think it took them a few days to catch up and catch their breath. Learned our lesson there. Next time, it's only gonna be a 2 bottle free limit from the get-go.

Come on Cindy, hurry up with the rest of my fire colors, already! I am so excited to see how they are received. I've been cooking up marketing ideas for the new collection. I mean, it is MY collection so I want it to fly off the shelves ... well AFTER Kim sends me a whole set for myself, that is. :)
